Filscandia Manpower and Recruitment Services, Inc (Filscandia) is an advocate of training and recruiting globally competitive workers and personnel for foreign employment. LEGITIMACY

 

Filscandia was accredited/ recognized as a domestic corporation with Company Registration Number CS200728198 by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on June 17, 2007. After its incorporation, Filscandia complied with its obligations on registration fee, income tax, withholding tax, and percentage tax. It was duly registered with the Bureau of Internal Revenue on November 15, 2007 with Tax Identification Number (TIN) 255-128-764-000 and Official Certificate Number (OCN) 2RC000085896. It received its license to operate a recruitment and placement agency on January 11, 2008 from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) through the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) under number POEA-004-LB-010808-PL with Serial Number 009222.

 

 

PROXIMITY

 

Based in Iloilo City, the center of medical and paramedical education in the geo-political area labeled Western Visayas or Region VI, Filscandia  is  accessible to both the northern and southern parts of the country, the maximum vital origin of migrant medical and paramedical Filipino workers and other professional, technical and skilled workers.

Fislcandia is highlighting the same base location as a another practical advantage as it is in the city where the regional offices of national government agencies such as the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Technical Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).  These agencies are directly governing and regulating the training, recruitment and deployment of nursing, paramedical and other professional, technical and skilled workers. Recently, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) represented by its regional director signified its intention to make Filscandia a priority deployment agency for the graduates of its foreign-job oriented training programs.

SOCIO-ECONOMIC PHILANTROPHY

 

Filscandia considers training and recruiting nurses not only as business but also an act of socio-economic philantrophy. It has completed the plan and is preparing for the  implementation of a scholarship program for less privileged but deserving students. These students  will be thoroughly screened and tested to prove the excellent Filipino tradition of nursing services which has been internationally recognized and has become a national economic asset and cultural pride. The scholarship program will be more innovative to make it more sustainable. It  will not simply trace the dole-out system. The program will pursue a system of consistency by applying the policy of a foreign-based working Filipino nurse to sponsor a scholarship for one to five nursing students. By adopting and practicing this concept, Filscandia will ensure a continuous supply of this internationally highly demanded Filipino human resource.

 

Moreover, to make the training, recruiting and employing process less tedious and less difficult to prospective workers, not like what is usually carried out by other companies in the industry, Filscandia promotes a no placement fee policy, thus, making it client friendly. It wants to help the less fortunate and underprivileged members of society realize and actualize their dreams by giving them the opportunity to financially grow and develop.

Quick but quality and reliable deployment is a principle that makes Filscandia novel and distinct in the industry. It has started and is about to finalize network partnerships with mass media outfits particularly the radio networks and the newspaper publishers for its information, education and communications (IEC) program. Building partnerships with the mass media will further assure the integrity which Filscandia considers a guiding principle. EXPANSION

 

Filscandia has always recognized the fact that the Philippines, aside from being a primary supplier of highly competent nursing and paramedical professionals in the international market, is also a primary supplier of other professional, technical and skilled workers. It has already completed the blueprint for the expansion of its deployment program which includes among others medical technologists, caregivers, welders, industrial cleaners, hotel and restaurant staff and construction workers.

 

Originally setting its eyes on the Scandinavian market, it is now exploring the expansion into its soon-to-be-covered market in the United States of America, Australia, Canada and countries in the Middle East and Europe, rendering itself to be  comprehensive and precise in its market analysis.
